Quick Departure

Before Elizabeth can join us for dinner she gets two letters from Jane explaining how Lydia has eloped with Wickham. Elizabeth acts very maturely and tries to take the blame after I assured her it was my fault. I can't believe I didn't expose him! If I did I could have dinner with Lizzy and none of this would be happening. I can't believe Wickham, I hate that man.

Getting Lizzy

Recently after running into Lizzy I have been trying extra hard to make her fall for me. I have had my friends put in good word for me, I have been over the top polite, and I have made her feel comfortable. I hope she begins to like me, I am trying very hard for her. Today I will invite her and her guests to dine with the Bingleys and Georgiana and I at Pemberley. I hope she appreciates this.

Georgiana

While walking with Elizabeth, I was enjoying myself and talking to her. I let her know I was at Pemberley to prepare it for the Bingleys and my sister Georgiana. Trying to strike up conversation and also be polite I asked Elizabeth if she would like to meet Georgiana. Elizabeth looked delighted and said yes! Tomorrow I shall visit Elizabeth with Georgiana.

My House

As soon as I heard the news that Elizabeth was at Pemberley I rushed to it. Why would she be at my estate? Later on a walk with her I find out that she is only here because she thought I was absent, which I was. I'm glad Mrs. Reynolds put in good word for me, she is a true wing man. Hopefully Elizabeth likes the estate and is thinking about it.

Rumors

After hearing about Wickham departing with his regiment I was pumped. Now he can't get in the way of my relationship with Lizzy, even though i'm almost positive Lizzy wants nothing to do with him anymore. After he left I heard from a friend of mine Elizabeth and Wickham talked about me. I was glad to hear Lizzy didn't mention what she discovered which was good because it would start too much drama for everybody.

She Visits

Well Elizabeth came to visit me today. At least I hope that's what her intentions were. I am hearing mixed rumors  such as her only wanting to visit Pemberley because I wasn't present. However I believe she wanted to see me and came to tour my estate. I hope she was pleased with it since I wasn't there. The wealth might change her mind about the marriage. Maybe not, she only believes in marrying for love, but maybe the estate will ease those feelings.

Wickham

Well the secret is out about Wickham now. I overheard a couple of unfamiliar women gossiping about him on my way out of Rosings. I had no intention to ruin his life which is what this will do. Everyone is beginning to see the real Wickham and how he tries so desperately hard to marry into wealth because he is nothing. This will hopefully turn Lizzy against Wickham and towards me.

Goodbyes

Finally, I had to get out of Rosings. I needed some time to think after the incident with Lizzy. A lot is on my mind right now and I can't be near her while I think I will be too distracted. So Colonel Fitzwilliam and I left Rosings with no time to spare. I hope Lizzy is thinking about the letter and maybe a second chance.

A Second Invitation

Earlier in the day Colonel Fitzwilliam and I received another letter to Rosings. At dinner I glance at Fitzwilliam every now and then and I can tell he is interested in Elizabeth. It doesn't bother me too much. After dinner I walked to watch Elizabeth play pianoforte. Right then the started making fun of me and informs Fitzwilliam of my behavior at the Meryton ball. This was embarrassing but I forgot about it when Charlotte kicked Elizabeth off the pianoforte and made her play on a less sophisticated one. Now this bothered me.

The Letter

I purposely ran into Elizabeth on a walk today to hand her a letter I wrote. In the letter, I once again admit to how I attempted to break Jane and Bingley's romance. However, I also made it apparent that Jane's attachment was not strong enough for heartbreak. I also added how i do not wish Mr. Bingley involves himself in Elizabeth's family due to lake of wealth and propriety. Also i told her the truth about Wickham on how he tried to get with my sister for her fortune.

The Proposal

Today with my pride leading me I proposed to Elizabeth. I was expecting a yes and was shocked when she turned me down. Why would anyone turn me down? I have tons of money and stunning looks! I might have stayed on the topic of her social inferiority too much but she had to know. Things got into a fight fast and soon enough Elizabeth was demanding for answers. I admitted to all I did and grimly departed from her being.

Competition

Just when I thought my cousin couldn't interest himself more in my Elizabeth, he goes off on a walk with her and informs her that I saved a friend from imprudent marriage. Easily enough Elizabeth finds out I was talking about Jane and Bingley and now she has taken extra liking to Fitzwilliam and less to myself. Now Lizzy looks at me as the man who is responsible for her sister's unhappiness. Fitzwilliam is really starting to bother me.
