Goodbyes
Finally, I had to get out of Rosings. I needed some time to think after the incident with Lizzy. A lot is on my mind right now and I can't be near her while I think I will be too distracted. So Colonel Fitzwilliam and I left Rosings with no time to spare. I hope Lizzy is thinking about the letter and maybe a second chance.

My dearest friend, I so pains me to see you struggle with your relationship with Elizabeth. It is now that you know what love can do to someone. Evident in my love for Jane, it can spark between possibly unlikely candidates. I hope too that I will get another chance with her, as you hope to with Miss Elizabeth. I also hope to see you soon, dear friend.
